The FDA loves the money, but hates Americans...out to get rid of them by permitting drugs on the market, which injure and kill. This is an agency which could be eliminated with good health results. Americans would be safer, if it did not exist. Go after it RFK!
More than 1 in 3 surgical patients has complications, study finds, and many are the result of medical errors
More than a third of patients admitted to the hospital for surgery have adverse events related to their care, and at least 1 in 5 of these complications is the result of medical errors, the researchers found.
Studies delving into adverse events and medical errors in hospital settings are few and far between, and each has slightly different methods, so their results aren’t always an apples-to-apples comparison. But the latest study, which was published Thursday in the BMJ, fits into a pattern of evidence going back decades, suggesting that hospitals haven’t made much progress on patient safety.
The lady who does my hair older sister is one of their victims. She is a Type 2 diabetic, they waited to long to remove her gallbladder, it exploded in the abdomen. Months of one infection after another. No replacement of gut Flora. Kidney failure, a few attempts to send her home. She is in Kidney failure, no real hope of recovery. Dialysis has failed to improve her kidneys. Meds were wrong for her. Diet was not rich enough on B complex, and No Sun, No D. Drs know little about real nutrition. It's been 1 day at a time before she dies. Prayers are needed and being sent up.

A federal judge said Kraft Heinz must face a proposed nationwide class action lawsuit over claims that its Kraft macaroni and cheese contains no artificial preservatives.
That would fit the description of all processed foods. They all have preservatives in them to extend shelf life.
The company introduced the two packaged meals — one starring pizza and the other a turkey, cheddar cheese and cracker plate — at the beginning of the 2023-2024 academic year. At the time, Kraft Heinz said the offerings were protein-enriched and contained reduced levels of saturated fat and sodium to meet the requirements of the national free and reduced-price school lunch program.
Nutritionists and advocacy groups were not thrilled by the launch. The Center for Science in the Public Interest called having Lunchables in cafeterias “a highly questionable move for school nutrition” that might confuse families into thinking the versions sold at supermarkets were a healthy option.
The drumbeat quickened in April, when Consumer Reports said its tests showed the school-approved Lunchables contained more sodium than the store varieties. The organization also reported that commercially available Lunchables had more lead compared to ready-made meals made several other companies.
Consumer Reports petitioned the U.S. Department of Agriculture to ban Lunchables and similar processed meal kits from schools.
Only 90%, did the rest die in office (entirely believable), I would have expected more like 99%.
Of course, the very successful may have found work elsewhere, like the military suppliers.
