Social Security here is varying but basically for instance my disabled special needs son (in a wheelchair, very cognitively delayed) receives $943 SSI and $270 in EBT (food benefit) monthly to live on. Currently an apartment in Reno NV where we live is average of $1,800 month for a one bedroom. Obviously not viable. I haven't started drawing social Security yet (although I can at 62) but I believe it's about $1,100 a month. Also not viable.
