It is said that there are over 3 million fed employees. A lot of people to pay and give benefits to. There were months, under the puppet Biden regime, when increases in government employment were higher than private employment (and we know that the private employment were false because they were revised downwards many months). In addition, there are over 8 million private contractors that work for Uncle Sam. Also a lot of mouths to feed.
On top of that great expense, we have (some unknown) agencies and programs that spend billions of our tax dollars that have no benefit to us. Do you think there is a real problem here? So, whatever Trump and his DOGE group accomplish, after the contesting court cases, will likely be like a few drops in the bucket of government expense.
Then, to make matters worse, there is an enormous amount of theft and fraud. The government actually acknowledges billions of dollars of fraud during COVID-19, most of which will never be recovered. Billions of our dollars are stolen each month.
Let's face it, the entire federal government and its programs must be eliminated or stripped to the bare walls. Can you see Congress going along with this? Of course not. So, this enormous task falls on us. At the very least, hound your people in Washington to eliminate useless (to us taxpayers) spending and unnecessary programs. But, just be aware that the problem requires to do a lot more to get this country into any reasonable, acceptable shape.
Finally, let's also acknowledge that most of our state, county and local governments are not in any better shape than the federal government. Are you ready for the job ahead of us? Or are you content to live as a slave of your government(s)?
People have no idea that the support they are receiving from many federal healthcare agencies accelerates their demise. These agencies are set up to provide paychecks for the people who work there. They don't know the first thing about what constitutes health care.
Trump himself shared this with members of his former administration which is why they called him mad and did unspeakable things to subvert him. All that it did though was to strengthen his resolve. Let's hope we are not the next Rome.

There are 3 million Federal government workers. That's 2 million more than they really need.
I say cut the 2 million and let the chips fall.
