A mostly fair article, at least it mentions the Budapest Memorandum, "Both Russia and the U.S. failed to hold up their part of the agreement." An accurate statement!
Yes, we got the Obama-Soros “Anti-Corruption” bureau out of it, a not insignificant achievement, and Vlad Putin got Crimea (for nothing), on the excuse that the Budapest Memorandum no longer applied.
I’m not in favor of Ukraine or Russia, but it is amazing that the reporting is slanted so, I guess we can tear up all the old inconvenient Treaties anytime we want, Trump sure seems to think so.
With Trump's deal, oh, yes "The Art of the Deal", America will eventually get its money back, if not in money, but in dirt (er, minerals). There is, of course, no guarantee that at some future point the US will not have to sacrifice American youth's blood to defend its dirt in Ukraine. As for pathetic Europe, they will be lucky to survive the upcoming worldwide recession, compliments of the BIS, WEF, and their Fourth Industrial Revolution. The Founding Fathers were right when they said that the best policy was not to get involved with overseas nonsense.

Russia won't accept a situation where NATO missiles are minutes away from Russia's most important cities.
The other areas mentioned don't have enormous borders either Russia.
The border between Ukraine and Russia is 2,200km long.
The other issue is geography.
The area that Ukraine holds between themselves and Russia is mostly flat, it's where any common sense geberal would invade through.
The other issue missed in the post is that Ukraine is one of the most corrupt nations on the world.
It's easy to see that when the leader is able to close down all media besides the one he controls.
Then there's his imprisoning his political opponents.
Of course, the USA organising a coup in 2014 is also something ignored on the post.
