Living, or trying to, with pain is horrible. Pain is debilitating. Pain takes joy out of living. Government, as per its usual miserable self, injects itself into your private hell, but only offers roadblocks. If somebody need the damned opioid pain killers, let them be. But, government wants you to jump through hoops, when sometimes it is an effort to walk. They want you to go to "pain management" where they make you think you have psych issues, then give you psych meds which are worse than the pain killers or will turn you into a zombie or killer. Guv won't even let you fill your meds a day early because you might be an abuser. So if you had a bad day and took an extra pill, they would rather you went into withdrawal than give you your script a day early. The best advise is to try to avoid anything that might cause chronic pain or else the government looks at you like you're a criminal.
When I broke my wrist the ER Doc gave me 4 days of 7.5 Oxy no refills. I broke them in half and kicked it with 1,000 my generic Tylenol. It reduced the pain to barely toerable. PT hurt worse. 18 weeks of it. And I still wake up with wrist pain and finger stiffness. Spinal Stenosis is the worst. Full spine.
Everyone has experienced pain...However, people should look on PAIN as a FRIEND...It says you are doing something wrong, which has caused the paid (except for accidents).. In 1988, I experienced excruciating pain in my elbows and could not lift my arms above my head>. What caused it? BREAD! My neighbor worked in a deli and started giving me some bread a few months before. I keep a food journal and saw I had recently started eating bread. I stopped the bread and in several weeks the pain was gone. I decided to experiment and several months later, started eating bread again. Within less than a month the same intense pain and I could not lift my arms up. So, I stopped eating the bread and grains forever. More recently, in 2020. I woke up one morning with a very painful, swollen ankle and could not walk. I discovered that I was eating Jalapeno peppers in my eggs ...They are nightshades, which cause problems with the joints. I stopped eating them and it took almost 2 months, before my ankle healed.as I was in my 80s. Pills may take away the pain, but they DON'T REMOVE THE CAUSE...and it will eventually turn into something much worse. One has to find the CAUSE and REMOVE IT. Nightshades cause arthritis and joint problems. Grains CAUSE 200 diseases, but most medical doctors TREAT SYMPTOMS...They don't study nutrition...and tell you what caused the problem. PILLS CONTAIN TOXIC INGREDIENTS, WHICH DO NOT BELONG IN THE HUMAN BODY. People have to find the cause of pain...and it will stop! It is a warning that one is doing something wrong.
Yes you are right. I am interested in the nightshades. Which vegetables fall under this category? I am 76 now. I am trying to fight off joint pain. I take Boswelia, Glucosamine, MSM and Turmeric daily. For the most part I am pain free. But if some Nightshades are unfavorable, I want to know about this. Thank you.
I have not experienced any adverse reactions to eggplant. It is one of my favorite vegetables, and I know how to cook it in numerous ways. However, anything that increases stomach acidity causes joint pain. I have been taking Nexium (Generic Version) since 2021 to control stomach acid. It is most helpful.
And don’t forget the countless doctors and other healthcare professionals who have lost their careers and even been imprisoned because of the “opioids are poison” scam.
An alternative that's worked for me is buprenorphine. Technically a narcotic, but without the usual side effects of more common ones such as Norco, it allows at least some of those impacted by chronic pain to be functional and merits more common use for those looking for a solution.
For pain, there is nothing that compares with opioids. This is the simple reality. Today, they pass out NSAID (Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs) like candy. Five times these caused severe bleeding in my stomach, and I came within minutes of death as a consequence. I will NEVER take any NSAID orally again. Recently I was in an accident on a motor scooter, and I slipped on wet marble steps and hurt my back. I went to see my orthopedic surgeon. He is a great doctor. He X-rayed me and found nothing is broken. He prescribed Oxycontin. He gave me 40 pills. I took only one, one day and it helped me so much. I still have 39 pills left. I am not using them to feel good or get high. I will save them for when I am really in severe pain.

On target. Not even a scheduled 5 valium.

Eggplant suprised me. I don't seem to react to them. I have more pill reactions to joints.

Hi Edwin,
Thanks for giving my article a signal boost!
Excellent!
I HATE Gabapentin! Doesn't work, but sure tears your GI Tract up worse than Advil crap.
Never take Celebrex, Diclofencac or other NSAID orally. Especially if you are over 50. Those drugs are killers.
