Passing Observations 134

24TH OCTOBER 2022

Before he was demonised and lied about for telling the truth about covid-19, The Independent newspaper described Vernon Coleman as: ‘King of the Media Docs’.

This is a long standing series of small items which have caught my eye or mind and which seem relevant, startling, amusing or all three. Occasionally, items which appear here may return as a longer piece. Mostly they will not.

Why did climate change cultists attack paintings by Monet and Van Gogh? I think it’s because they both painted in oil.

There are 600,000 Britons who own shotguns and enjoy shooting. That’s a hell of a lot of psychopaths.

More of the elderly will die this winter because of the price of energy. The elderly suffer more from the cold – and will be less likely to be able to afford to heat their homes. The conspirators must be rubbing their hands in gleeful expectation.

‘It is certain that many of the patients who suffer adverse effects need not have taken their drugs at all. A study at johns Hopkins hospital in Baltimore showed that hospital in-patients received an average of 15 drugs. The minimum number of drugs received by any one patient was six, the most taken was 32. It is not unreasonable to guess that a large number of those prescriptions need never have been written. After all, in one large American nursing home which had previously averaged 175 prescriptions per week, the average number of prescriptions was reduced to 10 a week without any adverse effects. A survey done in 1966 in Canada in which the records of 4,894 patients given antibiotics were examined, showed that in 48.5 per cent of cases infection was indeed present but that in 62.5 per cent of cases the wrong drug had been prescribed. A study at the university of Arkansas medical center showed that of 9,789 drug doses given by 32 nurses, there were 1461 errors.’ – from Paper Doctors by Vernon Coleman, published 1977

A woman in the newsagents paid her bill with her watch. Thinking this rather fun I tried to do the same. Sadly, my watch didn’t work. And it’s a damned good watch too.

There would be rioting in the streets if the dunderheaded masses ever realised what had happened to them. Sadly, the covid-jabs have reduced their mental acuity and they’re too stupid to know what day it is – let alone how they’ve been tricked.

According to the front page of a national newspaper the police in the UK are now going to investigate burglaries. Gosh. Are they also going to investigate murders? If so they could start by looking into the deaths of thousands of elderly folk who were murdered in care homes and hospitals.

Some bank cash machines have reduced the total amount that can be withdrawn. And now they only distribute £10 notes. This is another step towards a cashless society. In future I’ll ignore cash machines and obtain my cash from a bank teller.

Computers have taken all the satisfaction, and much joy, from almost all jobs not directly involved in the production and management of computers.

I saw a car flying a blue and yellow flag. ‘Which football team do you support?’ I asked the driver, feigning ignorance I wish I’d felt. ‘It’s the Ukraine flag!’ he replied, clearly shocked. ‘Golly,’ I said. ‘I didn’t even know they had a national football team. Are they any good?’ I hurried away because he looked as though he was about to explode. He was undoubtedly a Liberal and a supporter of designer wars.

Part of the plan to impoverish us all is to increase interest rates for borrowers but to keep interest rates very low for savers. (As a bonus, this also helps the obscenely rich bankers become even richer.)

When I was a GP I was told by a coroner that writing ‘old age’ as a cause of death on a death certificate wasn’t sufficient. But it seems that this rule may not apply if the dead person was a queen.

Mask wearing is being normalised by the mainstream media. Many photos in newspapers and on the BBC website show people wearing masks. I think they plan to bring mask wearing back into fashion before the winter starts.

All members of the royal family who want to speak out and become involved in political affairs (such as the absurd global warming scam) should give up all their titles. If they want to keep the jewels, stamp collections and palaces they should obey the rules and keep out of politics. They can’t be royal and express political views. (And the global warming issue is a political or quasi- religious one since there is no scientific evidence to support the beliefs of the cult members.)

I gather that Musk is going to go ahead and buy Twitter. To see how keen he really is on `free speech’ I’ll reapply to join. It’ll be interesting to see if they let me.

The worst hurricane ever recorded was on 10th October 1780. It killed between 20,000 and 30,000 people in the Caribbean. So, let’s not hear any more nonsense about climate change please. Climate change, nee global warming, is a cult based on a myth built on a lie and founded by conspirators.

The demonization of British cultural heroes continues apace with Roald Dahl and Philip Larkin having both been put on the naughty step by the mad far left leaning commies who, having conquered Islington, are now determined to rule British society.

We’ll all miss Robbie Coltrane. His best film was ‘Let it Ride’. If you haven’t seen it then you should. It’s a treat – starring Richard Dreyfuss. I once borrowed Mr Coltrane’s wellies. I was pretending to be Father Christmas on a show made by the BBC in the olden days. Why? You don’t want to know and I’m not going to tell you.

The Advertising Standards Authority likes to give the impression it has power and can ban advertisements. In fact, the ASA is a private body not a statutory body. It is largely financed by big advertisers and has no more power to ban adverts than your refrigerator has. The ASA has itself has been investigated by the Office of Fair Trading. On one occasion when the ASA attacked an advert for my book Meat causes Cancer (previously called Food for Thought) they refused to look at the scientific evidence I offered them. The ASA’s rulings are used by the conspirators on websites such as the fake encyclopaedia known as Wikipedia (that’s the one that is written and edited by amateurs and was fined recently for publishing information considered to be false). No one really takes much notice of the ASA anyway. I bought £60,000 worth of advertising in the Guardian and the Observer for adverts for three books of mine. All the ads had been banned by the ASA but neither the Guardian nor the Observer seemed to mind when I offered them money.

Darn, I wish I would have known of Coleman's reply about the Ukrainian flag, that was priceless! The unfortunate good news is, there's still time to say it.

Not only has Dr. Coleman given the world a wealth of information on health, vaccines, etc., but his other books, "The Young Country Doctor" series are wonderful, witty stories. What struck me with the covid plandemic was that all world "leaders", journalists, and government agencies were saying the same thing, at the same time. When there is a natural disaster, people come together with different means of solving the problem. With "covid" they all said the same thing, at the same time. That is not natural, it's artificial. Edwin, if you don't have this, here is Dr Coleman's greatest hoax.pdf https://www.vernoncoleman.com/greatesthoax.pdf
