This 'god complex' comes without the recognition that the real healer here is the human body, specifically the immune system, which modern medicine has tried to put out of commission, so their drugs can take over. No matter how they do it, it is destined to fail.
A rude awakening’: Scarecrow laws threaten to make middle-aged Americans responsible for their parents’ medical bills — and long-term care costs are soaring**
Every time, shame modern medicine doesn't realize this.
Some doctors (I use that term loosely) prescribe every patient LIPITOR. Whether the 'need' it or not! Of course we now know LIPITOR does essentially no good, but modern medicine can't realize this, it would hurt the 'profit motive' and what would the good doctor (I use that term loosely) prescribe then?
Lifestyle changes / diet: exercise should be first and foremost. Every drug has a side effects Edwin . All the patients I see , who their primary care or internist or cardiologist puts them on Lipitor never discusses lifestyle modification or for that matter abstaining from seed oils . It’s pitiful.
Same with Diabetes. I have Gastroparesis, and don't digest many types of fruits/veggies. And it takes 4 hours to digest 2 eggs and toast. Meats and bread digest faster, with less swelling and pain. After eliminating the foods I couldn't digest, I ended up with Type 2. The first drug is Metformin. I had already read Robert Yoho's Butchered by Healthcare. Pharma, and Government. I rejected all the pill forms. Humalog was next. Dr. Never got the dosage right. And 5 years later we are still playing with getting it right. It's gone from 20/22 clicks to 14/14. 14 is about right for breakfast. I eat 2 small meals a day. 14 95% of the time my before bed BS test will be in the 50's to 90's. To low. But no one has inquired what I eat. Only a high-carb meal would require 14 or higher. So I learned to adjust to it.
Food poisoning started the weight loss. But I'm stalled out and the advised diets don't work for a Gastroparesis patient. Now we can add Gallstones. Still no advice on diet. And it is hard to blend opposing diets.
OTC pain meds need a warning label on them, all but Tylenol are GI destruction meds. Tylenol has it's side effect. The most concerning side effect, though, is severe liver damage.
Scurvy is not actually caused by lack of supplementing vit-C. Scurvy is caused by malnutrition. If you eat fresh meat instead of hardtack biscuits you don’t get scurvy as the LDL-A replaces vit c in blood clotting and connective tissue. .
IN Grade School - Jr High we were MANDATED TO HAVE TB TINE TEST. In the 1960s and 1970s, when tuberculosis (TB) infection rates in the United States were high, universal screening for TB was required for all children (1). Between the 1980s and early 1990s, in response to a new increase in incidence of TB cases in the United States (2–4), the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) recommended annual tuberculin testing for high-risk children such as blacks, Hispanics, the socioeconomically disadvantaged, and children living in neighborhoods where the disease rate was higher than the national average (5). In 1996, the AAP's committee on infectious diseases (6) issued updated guidelines that called for targeted tuberculin skin testing (TST) of children and discouraged universal testing of children who lack risk factors. More recently, these recommendations were reiterated by a joint statement of the American Thoracic Society, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the Infectious Diseases Society of America (7). We review the rationale and evidence in support of targeted TST in children and discuss some of the logistic aspects of instituting targeted screening programs.
One California community has a tuberculosis outbreak that has recently been declared a public health emergency.
The results of Covid will be cemented for generations as "loss of trust in healthcare". Profound consequences when people on the inside refuse to recommend to people on the outside already fearful and weary.
Doctors have a god complex. It must have something to do with taking a broken body and putting it back together, albeit flawed.
People with megalomaniac thoughts rarely like to be proven wrong.
Doctors no longer diagnose. They prescribe.
They don't look at the underlying illness. They follow the symptoms.

Fauci has lied about everything, especially if he could make a buck off it.

Tragic.

I recommend a nutritionist, or at least I used to recommend them, if you can find a good one.
A good integrative nutritionalist !!
None can handle even Type 2. Two opposing ones, never. It's not in their training.
