I like what Michael Malice said: the Left thinks Trump was the river, but Trump was actually the dam. They succeeded in tearing Trump down. I think it will prove to be a Phyrric victory. So many more people are now aware of the blatant deep-state corruption and its anti-liberty agenda. The regular people have lost whatever faith they once had in our culture's most important institutions, and there's no restoring that. The Left destroyed the dam, now they'll find the river they unleashed is not so easy to contain.

Plenty of us considered that Trump was their very last chance at redemption, forgiveness, amnesty, a pass go and get $200, a get out of jail free card.

Trump would allow anyone the excuse of "it is the swamp and I didn't create it" if they were just willing to "make a deal' and become patriotic, Trump's universal answer. Remember his inaugural speech.

But no, the swamp, or sewer as I call it, was 500% worse than even Trump thought, the Tailgunner Joe" realization.

I guess for anyone that’s really been paying attention, it’s never ‘not’ been going on.
