Tennessee is just one, it is encoded in the State Constitution with a must balance the budget. Plenty of other Fees and taxes. 2 gas taxes, property, sales tax, which includes food, there is a hue to remove the grocery/property taxes. We always have a Rainy Day fund.
Today is proper tax day in Columbia County, Georgia. My property taxes are about $2,000, they took away the $500 dollar discount because I sold some old photography junk on eBay (homestead exemption). Except for a couple of items, I lost money (but used them for 25+ years).
