They will then turn up their nose and walk away with a heightened sense of superiority.
The term "conspiracy theory" is remarkably adept at turning off all critical thinking like a light switch in a large portion of the people I have personally met.
Conditioning the public to react this way has to have been one of the most effective PSYOPs ever pushed onto the general population.
It is equal parts diabolic and brilliant, and it means that the elites can get away with just about anything with little to no scrutiny because everyone is too afraid to point out that the emperor has no clothes lest they be labeled a "conspiracy theorist".

There is something that always gets neglected by the conspiracy theorists; there is the tendency to consider the global elite in pursuit of totalitarian world domination as a united behind a common cause. Now, I don't know any of them, and I assume there is some unity in an "enemy of my enemy" sense, but I find it impossible to believe that they are not fiercely competitive amongst themselves (their eliteness derives from wealth, not wisdom, and you don't acquire that without being ruthless and competitive). This would be an enormous obstacle to a uniform New World Order which might prevent them from concealing their own activities from each other. I wager this is one incentive for some of them to relinquish their own sovereignties to an artificially intelligent master; they can't trust each other, but assume that a true AI would be unbiased and unemotional in pursuit of the "greater good." I think it's fair to say that there will never be a true single and functional global government that doesn't eventually consume itself. The more concentrated the power and wealth becomes, greater the conflicts will necessarily become between those in control. I doubt they are going settle their differences peacefully.

Emergency response leaders following bad public policy have been too focused on sending firefighting equipment to Ukraine, keeping the homeless safe, protecting fish, and adopting green policies to focus on things like making sure there is enough water to feed fire hydrants and guaranteeing that the strongest, best-trained, most-skilled firefighters are leading operations.
