I think the problem may be that the folks running the Secret Service wanted Trump to get shot.

I am a newbie to shooting. And to date I have hit well over 90% of my intended targets, some more precisely than others. And I intend to get much better. I'm a 5'5" 67 year old woman. What's the problem here? Are the so called professionals really this incompetent? Mind boggling, but then so much is.

I'm in your age range and have an essential tremor. My husband says my accuracy is better than stated in the article. Yes... What IS the problem??

I'm SEVENTY...and I'd like to post some of my target pictures here but substack hasn't figured out how to let us yet. And yet WORDPRESS figured it out 10 years ago.

Just because they are getting paid, sure doesn't make these guys professionals. Keep up the practice. We need more GUARDIANS out and about in society because the morons in the government did away with the most important part of the 2nd amendment in 1916. You know, the part that says NECESSARY for the SECURITY of a FREE state. https://www.courageouslion.us/p/those-forgotten-and-ignored-13-words Having a firearms is not a guarantee of any of those three words. But it is necessary to be in the militia.

When I worked for the State Prison system, we had to qualify with a .38 revolver and hit 80% at 5ft, 3 yards, and 15 yards. We had to qualify with an AR-15 at 50 yards and hit 8 out of 10 shots on the target.

I, being 54, cleared 100% on the pistol and 9 shots with the rifle every damn time.

If you don't practice with your firearm, you won't be able to hit shit, and it looks like these DEI warriors couldn't do that.

At five feet, I can hit center mass with every shot.

If Federal Agents can't shoot, they don't need to be carrying weapons.

Maybe the Federal DHS qualifications are different for women than men.

One thing good about this...if these federal agents are who they would send out to collect OUR firearms due to some horse BS that is passed...there will be a LOT of dead ones.

And, their selection of potential assassins is every bit as sketchy as the rest of the DOJ riff-raff.

Where do they find these unqualified losers?

Onward, Christian soldiers!

For whatever it's worth, and in defense of the officers involved, try a Glock with the standard "NY Trigger" an you will have an example of the trigger involved, actually asking someone to shoot one of these accurately may be a bit too much. My info may be outdated but I doubt it.

We ain't talking about a Mel Gibson Beretta special here, but the standard issue pistol the street cop is issued.

I carry a Glock 30 .45 with me 95% of the time and that is simply not true. With proper training any striker fire pistol can be used accurately. The other 5% of the time it's whatever I feel I need where I'm going. Glock 32, Glock 29, Glock 20, Glock 21, Glock 43, Ruger security six revolver, Poly80 with a 50GI conversion slide...heck my list is endless with the tiny collection I have.

Key word: “Proper training”

LOL! Is proper training a word Edwin? And you're right. Why carry it if you aren't properly trained in how to use it? Some can't even take them apart to clean them! LOL! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vsUMM0Da4UI

Up until the last few years (BLM,anti-fa) there had been a push for hiring law enforcement with college degrees [why?]. Unless the recruits had military backgrounds or grew up on a farm/ranch, the likelihood of firearm training and basics was slim to none. Actually, a lot of the newer cops don't like guns and don't even want to carry them. As you can imagine, range time and training are sorely lacking. Many don't go to a range except for yearly qualification. It is well known that cops are not usually sharpshooters, so putting them into a real situation where it is necessary to fire their guns, they become even less accurate under stress. Compounding the sad situation, shooting a firearm is a perishable skill. The less you practice, the worse your aim. Imagine how much a cop's skill erodes between recruitment and retirement. Aside from putting themselves in additional danger, their lack of gun proficiency also puts the public in danger. Five feet is an easy distance to shoot accurately. At three feet, you should be able to hit your target most of the time without even aiming the gun (point and shoot). You may very well be your best self-defense as civilians. My understanding is that Trump has hired his own security in addition to the Secret Service. Smart move.

Being 5 ft tall, bringing my CCW piece to center mass makes it easy to get more hits. My issue for range shooting is how suppressed I can get the retort. Most muffs are for people who grass mowers, to low DB. 47 DB is the highest I've found. Even with earplugs too I can hear the retort. The grocery store is torture to my hearing aids, I turn them off or remove them. Just need plain ones.

While I do not doubt the thesis, I find this statement mind-boggling: " In 1990 New York PD officer hit percentage was only 19%. They missed 81% of rounds fired. At less than three yards they hit only 38%, and between 3-7 yards, only 9.4%. From 1994-2000 the NYPD’s hit rate was still frightening. From 0-2 yards, their hit rate was 69%, which sounds encouraging until one realizes at zero feet, their muzzles were touching the attacker and they still missed 31% of the time! From 16-25 yards their hit rate was only 2%."

Unless those NYPD cops were drunk or blindfolded, it is hard to believe that anyone with the strength to pull a trigger could possibly miss 62% of their targets as a distance of 3 - 7 yards.

I have friends that are cops and have offered to take them to the range and practice.

One officer has only shot a target on 2 occasions. In basic training and a half day course he took on his own in 14 years on the force.

Another hadn't done target practice in 2 decades.

None that I know have a concealed carry permit.

2 more pardons, mass killer Fauci and Adam Schiff.

President Biden has the White House’s lawyers drawing up “preemptive” pardons for numerous government officials who have committed crimes over while he was in office.

https://www.lopmatrix.com/joe-bidens-next-pardons-might-be-even-worse-than-the-hunter-one-you-wont-believe-the-names-hes-thinking/

Joe and his regime are considering pardoning people like NIAID Director Dr. Anthony Fauci and Jan 6. Committee members like Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA), claiming that they are “deeply concerned” these people could find themselves in serious legal trouble when President Trump takes office next month.
