Glad I read this post as I was actually acquainted with Lawyer Steve Komie in Chicago in the late 80s and early 90s at one of the exchanges in the Loop. He probably wouldn't remember me as we were not close but you get to know who lots of people are in the trading pits!!
Very interesting article. If nearly all currency is tainted in some way by drugs then this should be thrown out every time. Perhaps bringing drug sniffing dogs into every bank and then absconding with all that cash might just stop this practice in its tracks!!
