OK -All of this talk of Ukraine winning this war is nothing more than armchair generals talking totally out of their asses. Especially in light of the fact that Ukraine is of no national interest to the US. This IS NOT OUR FIGHT. If one does a clear-headed analysis of the situation, the war as far as Ukraine is concerned is over. Ukraine has lost at the cost of 500K men and the destruction of wide sections of the country. Their army is "out of gas" and doesn't have the reserves to replace these losses. The only way to continue the war is to send in NATO troops which will lead to WWIII - how F'en stupid is this? No, it is time for the West to look for the off-ramp, take our losses and move on. Do continue is the textbook description of insanity.

I'm with you on this one Roger. If the Trump Administration can figure out the win-win solution where ALL parties save face and get long-term security, we'll have an end to this conflict.

It really isn't going to be a win-win....the neocons saw to this. If you will recall there was a deal early in the conflict - only to be squashed by that buffoon Boris Johnson. See war is a business/racket and the cabal hadn't nearly made enough money to solve the problem. Even with close to a million people dead or injured there is room to squeeze out more dollars and euros. Sad but true. What will happen is that Ukraine will capitulate and remain neutral - while Russia will incorporate the Dumbass region as a protectorate. Once settled there will be a gold rush by the same bastards who brought this war to rebuild the country - and collect billions in the process.

Agreed. Not our circus, not our clown show. The purpose of NATO was to counterbalance the Warsaw Pact, an organization which ceased to exist about 40 years ago. Having our standing armies sitting in Europe is an outdated paradigm. A smaller, well-trained and equipped force - based in the US -is needed for our interests.

Russia rightfully believes the 30+ year march of NATO to their border is an existential threat. The Ukrainian regime installed by Victoria Nuland after the color revolution by the CIA in 2014 is a Nazi government which has murdered nearly 15,000 ethnic Russians from 2015 to 2022. It has not adhered to the Minsk agreements they signed so “Putin’s war” is 100% justified. Russia is a nuclear power and if they lose this war will not hesitate to use their world ending weapons.

The western neocons need/want Russia’s natural resources to continue their fiat money fueled subjugation of humanity. Their propaganda machine has much of the western population believing that Russia can be defeated while simultaneously believing that if it is not they will continue to conquer the entire European continent. This is a very dangerous situation the western intelligence community has created. Luckily for the planet, Putin has shown great restraint and statesmanship but if he is pushed too far the end of humanity could achieved. The western neocons are the real enemy in this conflict and I wish more people would wake up to that fact.

Thank you for posting this Edwin, I realize this not what you believe but have posted it for discussion purposes, and thank you for letting me post my comment.

Well what do mean I do not believe it, perhaps I believe in an scenario where Russia/China are planning on using the comparative advantage in nuclear weapons against us in a possible protracted World War III situation that will favor them more than it would favor us. They do not have to concern themselves with anything but victory, so is the ideology which supports them.

Just to help the discussion along, I neither endorse or refute these ideas, at least not at first, but my mind is not totally made up in any event.

Trump has already started the " winning" process....let Europe settle it after we remove our troops & $ from NATO operations. This was a Neo-con war, failure to accept that and remove ourselves post haste is idiocy

Putin needs to understand that Russia will not be allowed to win this war. This should have been done months ago. If Putin is made to suffer humiliation in the eyes of the Russian people, he will withdraw, probably mumbling some nonsense about a Russian victory. He wants to retain power, no matter the cost. The insane robbery of the US Treasury, for the purpose of enriching the military-industrial complex, must be stopped.
