I'm afraid the ruling class no longer need or want a gendered population consisting of men and women who fall in love, pair bond, reproduce and parent their own children. This is why traditional gender roles, and now the very concept of gender itself, is being removed from every aspect of our culture, from language to the legal system.
The future global citizens will be raised to be 'gender queer' or 'non binary' and will get to pick from a long list of pseudo genders and special 'fun' identities. They will be told the old 'gender binary' was regressive, unfair and oppressive to women who had to give birth naturally (yuck!)
They will accept the propaganda, just as young women in the 1970's accepted the propaganda that traditional gender roles, marriage and being a full time mother to your own children was regressive, unfair and oppressive to women too. Society has been heading in this direction for a long time. The biological roles of men and women have been under attack for generations. Now things are moving a lot faster which is why more people are starting to notice.
