How true about the energy bills not going down, even with using solar panels and keeping the thermostat set low in winter and high in summer ....My utility bills back in the 1990s were no more than $35 every two months. Today in the winter they are $168 a month. In the summer they have gone up over $400 monthly. for energy and water...I did move into a desert area.. Using solar was supposed to cut utility charges way down, but the utility company adds on so many charges and taxes. that there isn't much difference.
Kill the people who do no harm and these idiots are wicked living and destroying everything Greta Thunberg has no sense Klaus is 86 and is wicked. We freeze and pay our bills and these power companies are owned by these wicked people.Who live in luxury and make decisions to kill us.Its so crazy.
Greta Thunberg: "Hi Earth, God, Cosmos - how DARE you have the coldest month of January since 1994! Al Gore invented climate change & damn it we will not let you fuck up our scheme!"
Greta's next words, "We expected this change in climate, its climate change dummies, naturally, it was caused by climate change!"
Hey Greta and Al, the gig's up, the boss is back in the White House and your free ride with the corrupt Paris Climate Accord grifters, like the UN, and lunatics just came crashing to the ground. Perhaps you both can get work at McDonalds, I hear the Fries Station is a blast!
We went from 50/60's to 20/10 in a week. Now we've climbed back to the 50/35. Light rain. Arctic Blast. While other states had feet of snow we had a dusting one morning. It is a Typical W. Tennessee weather pattern. I ran the AC at Christmas. Or Ran the furnace up when the layers were not sufficient. Quilt too, seems the ceiling vent blows where I park myself in the evening. Been hearing this garbage since my teens, and 76 is not young, 50+ years in the area, I know what to expect each season, erratic.
I must be the only person who does not play any snow sports yet loves winter. I am sad to see signs of it ending here.
Anyhow, something I found interesting… although I had to stop the sky trail project because of health and family reasons, I still watched the weather. Central Ohio was most certainly in a drought last summer/fall. It was way too hot way too late into the season. Yet on November 7, the day after the election, it rained… really rained… for the first time in months. Then it immediately started acting like the weather should in November, then December, then January… and for the first time in years, I’d say winter is acting like winter here. The local climate nuts are probably losing their stuff here over that one.
Coincidence? Possibly, but I’m hard pressed to believe in those any more. The timing was certainly interesting.
I still remember the fear mongering of the late 70's. We were supposed to be going into a mini-ice age. It was supposed to be so cold that living in the northern US would be unsurvivable. About the only place to live would be Florida, where the temperatures would be more like Vermont & Maine. What happened to that ice age? It, of course, never happened. Global cooling soon became global warming which has now mutated into climate change (duh). I suppose that those of us alive back in the 70's (who still have functioning cranial matter) should have done a better job warning the population that it is all a (money making) scam. Then again, we would have been accused of peddling mis-dis-information and called conspiracy theory nuts. Weather and long range climate change little year to year, except when the government plays at geo-engineering. No conspiracy theory, just ask Lahaina and Los Angeles.

Very interesting, Four Winds.
