I agree with you mostly. However, with the part about plain language, I disagree. The increase in "plain language" I believe has been a net negative. The dry, dull, boring bureaucratic prose being produced today is simply the aggregate of "plain language". We have to jettison the old words because (allegedly) the citizenry is too dumb to understand. Now, because we have eradicated eloquent and politically incorrect words, you need a longer explanation. Imagine if they start getting rid of words like "acquittal", "jury", "mens rea", "habeas corpus", etc. They have already taken away many beautiful words. It is the lowercase democrats hacking away at our heritage allegedly to accommodate the "common man". Is this "common man" really so stupid as to be incapable of learning a new word? For example, the woke people are doing something that you intuitively know to be illegal somehow. All you have to do is then go through the list and find the crime that closely approximates what you were observing.
