This is a great docu, The Biggest Little Farm movie. It takes the couple about 7 years to go from hard clay to a functioning living soil farm....and lots and lots of patience....really good movie, Here is a free site; https://ww11.soap2dayhd.co/film/the-biggest-little-farm-29356/
In a food enterpreneurs' mag or a "smart brief", I can't remember which, but I suppose it was last summer that I read about chicken now having the plastic packaging lined w a solution to reduce spread of disease.
Also, when I moved to a friend's old farmhouse in 2017 I was surprised w 2 hams in the fridge. Now, I don't know why those things give me diarrhea as of a few years ago, but I can't eat them. I called the friend over and showed her what I found.
She said they were a gift to me. That she and her dad both had freezers full. They both worked for the hog processing plant bought by cheena just prior. Now, they are Smithfield Foods.
So, these hams had a plain white address table on them. They said "experimental". I asked what that meant and they didn't know. I sent them back w her.
As long as these companies can line Congress' pockets we will have bad food. Apeel and Pleez are just the latest. Carrageenan is a seaweed, emulsifier, or thickening agent they use. It hates my GI tract. Besides I'm allergic to seafood.
It's not just the food, it's the production process.
