Our fireplace is gas logs, with an electronic starter. The same goes for the tankless water heater. And I have always hated electric stoves. I'll take gas any day, this starter house came with an electric stove. I've cooked on both in my 50+ years of cooking. Mom always had gas. There is a good-sized kerosene heater somewhere if Hub can remember where he put it 11 years ago. Then finding kerosene is an issue. It is the least processed, but most expensive of fuel products. I use lamp oil in my old emergency lights.
