War is hell for all concerned. The only ones who benefit temporarily... the profoundly ignorant and mercenary, who have war products to sell at the cost of many lives, world resources.and annihilation of all life. .
War, no doubt, is hell. Unless somebody is deranged, war is not an enterprise to be taken lightly. America, it seems, has some unwritten obligation to defend Taiwan (Formosa) in the event that the Red China engage it in war for the purpose of owning it. I don't believe there is any written, legal obligation to do so. Anybody have info on that? The senile diaper wearing Biden could not be cornered to give up the truth regarding our obligation to defend Taiwan. As much as I detest war, if there is such an agreement, we are bound to stand up for Taiwan if the situation arises. No, we don't want a war, especially with the PRC. It would be indescribably vicious and costly. Still, if we, as the United States cannot or will not keep our word, we are destined to be the target of the worse history written.
Government profits too. All those contract kickbacks. My Dad spent nearly 6 years fighting under MacAurthur. Caught Malaria nand witnessed the Atrocities of the Japanrese. He was a Paratrooper in the 503rd, which had more than 1 division. Rose to the rank of Sgt. For an Hated Itilian that was unheard of, but war changes your perspective when you have to depend on the next person for protection, race doesn't matter. Corregidore was his big battle. He hated the Marshal goody 2 shoes plan that flooded our markets with leaded paint toys and cheap made junk. Same as China is doing now.
Democrats love those war profits lining their pockets.
Thanks for the restack, ScrewWorm.
