Well it is back in the air, the Max that is. Maximum profits, with maximum risk, for the passengers, pilots, stewards, whoever else gets on the damn plane. Just think of this, the Max, DEI pilots, Guatemalan repair facilities (got to keep those profits up), and a tail screw thingamabob that should have been replaced. Perfect storm!

And no Denzel Washington, hell, we don't even have Kevin Bacon.

This isn't new. Ford did it with the Pinto. Lincoln Mercury did it with the Lincoln MKVIII in 97 and 98. The new electric cars are like bombs in a wreck. "The Invisible Rainbow" explains how radio signal transmissions are messing with the environment and human health and that the companies behind it do absolutely no research into the possibility of problems. THE FUTURE is looking more like a science fiction movie come to life.

This is frightening, thanks Edwin for the post. "... upon further inspection, was discovered to have numerous issues, not least being that bolts needed to be tightened." Someone forgot the golden rule on bolts, "righty tighty, lefty loosely".

LOL! Maybe they are reverse thread and that's the issue. They THOUGHT it was righty tighty, lefty loosey, but it was the other way around.

Don't give 'em any excuses, reverse thread indeed!

I've flown once. After the 2 Menieres attacks good excuse not to fly again, it's a weird disease, not a lot is known about what triggers it. The Steroid treatment is what destroys your hearing. First 1, no symptoms but Vertigo, 2nd roaring ears from excessive sound.

In Charlotte NC the dept. of health close a Waffle House down this week, because it scored 82. Folks said they waited for hours as the crew cleaned up the restaurant before they could go back in and eat .Others said they had ate there that day and saw nothing wrong and was pleased with the food. Folks will take Boeing warning the same way I am afraid.

Who waits for HOURs at a Waffle House. There is another one just on the other side of I-20 here, and it's much more crowded in Charlotte.

Folks will take the warning about Boeing the same way, until there are deaths, despite the blaming it on DEI, jackscrews, or whatever.

Maybe it's all part of the WEF population reduction agenda. The more crashed planes the less in the population. Maybe we need to investigate.

Regulars, that go each day. Nothing will stop them from eating there. Sanitation be damned. Just like eating at home.

Do you realize what you just implied? That eating at home is sanitation be damned too? LOL!

Not at my house. I am a health department grade inspector everywhere I go. A Ok, B, done gone, C you are crazy as fuck to eat there. My degree in food nutrition from the big university didn’t go wasted. Don’t get that 24 hour bug food poisonous so many in society get today and have no clue.

I got it. The missing I in I just like eating at home has a different meaning than. Just like eating at home. Especially when you had just said Sanitation be damned. Just like eating at home.

I for one celebrate the death of the airline industry. Even Lindbergh knew he had made a mistake, helping usher it in.

Let us hope that it doesn't kill too many of us. I never fly, ever, period. Hell, I don't even use elevators, at least not much. My last flight was in a 1946 ErCoupe 2 seater, just a little spin around Cocoa Beach. And no, I didn't take the controls.

Ah Cocoa Beach. Best times of my life while stationed at Patrick AFB in the 70s before there were even gates at the base. Great surfing area, and it was inexpensive back then.

I'm sure there will be more issues with the Boeing 737 Max.

Boeing had their own people on the government inspection side. They were inspecting their own planes. They were QA and they were validation all in one. That's not legit, with anything really. Not if quality is a serious concern. And quality is a serious concern with an aircraft.

This is just another example of everything American becoming systemically corrupted.

This illustrates what I've been saying for years now. The ship [The United States] is sinking, and people are trying to "get theirs" before it goes down.

You are right, but the men with the golden parachutes don't have to worry, or do they. Eventually even the golden parachute fails, maybe long after the first Max falls from the air, or not long at all.

OGRE's avatar

It depends. If their golden parachute is based on stock options, or paid out in cash.

Boeing still sells military aircraft. That side of the house might be run differently. I don't know.

At any rate, DEI will destroy Boeing, or, they'll drop DEI.

The whole deal with Claudine Gay [Fake and Gay FORMER Harvard President] and Boeing, was not supposed to happen so quickly, in my estimation. Things were supposed to go downhill slowly, not fall off a cliff.

Some of this might be a good thing. Insomuch as exposing DEI for what it is.

DEI is a takedown scheme. It's no different than Obamacare, or any other leftist scheme. It's NOT supposed to work, it's supposed to "appear to work" long enough to achieve its damaging effects.

However, DEI is making it so obvious that even those not paying attention will quickly notice it.

The only way I'm going to fly is if all of the TSA agents are good looking young women because I'm not going just let anyone do a body cavity search on me!

Just kidding, but wish I wasn't.
