We can safely assume that, during his presidency, Joe Biden was entirely unaware of anything other than the most basic policy decisions, as he was only held upright by drugs and his adoring spouse. He was a complete puppet to 'Dr Jill' and her cronies throughout.

Otherwise, why would a cognisant person put on a MAGA hat and nominate the laughing hyena DEI hire as next president?

I had a friend at work who had been in the Marine Corps, and was part of a group sent to help train government troops in Liberia during their civil war. He said that when he got back to the US he literally got down on the ground and kissed the dirt. We must appreciate what we have.

The more reports surface concerning Joe Biden - past quotes and business dealings - the more I despise career politicians. "Say whatever is expediate or benefits the moment" should be carved on Biden's tombstone.

With all the controversy about federal government staffing levels I asked DeepSeek this question.

Does Congress set federal agencies staffing levels or is that task left up to the executive branch?

It’s thinking process:

“First, I think Congress controls the budget. They pass appropriations bills that fund the government. If staffing levels are tied to funding, maybe Congress has a say through the budget.

But the actual hiring and managing of staff is probably done by the agencies themselves, which are part of the executive branch.

Wait, but how exactly does it work?

Maybe Congress sets the overall budget, which includes money for personnel. So they might allocate a certain amount of money for salaries, which would effectively limit how many staff an agency can hire. For example, if an agency has a budget that allows for 1,000 employees, they can't hire more than that without additional funding.

But generally, I think the executive branch has more discretion in how they use their allocated funds, including staffing. However, Congress can influence staffing through funding levels and specific legislative mandates. So the answer might be a combination:

Congress controls the budget which affects staffing levels, but the executive branch manages the actual staffing within those constraints.

Wait, but sometimes there are hiring freezes or increases directed by the President. For example, a President might order agencies to reduce staff or hire more in certain areas. That would be part of the executive branch's management.

So in summary, Congress doesn't directly set the exact number of staff for each agency, but they control the funding that determines how many staff can be hired. The executive branch agencies then manage their staffing within those budgetary limits, unless Congress has specified particular numbers in legislation.“

This response seems to suggest that the president has considerable discretion in determining how many employees are needed to carry out the functions of any agency funded by the Congress.

Those (students) that protested against the Viet Nam war were mostly motivated by the immorality of it. There were no vital American interests involved. Most understood the role of the Military-Industrial Complex. A sizable minority protested because they did not want to fight over there (with a high probability after student deferments were eliminated). Another minority were the agitators (some violent, like Obama's friends, the Ayers) like the Weathermen and some of SDS. They were the puppets of the Socialist/Marxist groups. At least they understood the empire-building nature of such wars.

What is curious is the anti-war protests were largely non-existent during Iraq, Afghanistan. Did they forget about the 60's/70's? Americans tend not learn from history, even our own.

The Soviet Union spent 80% of its VietNam war budget right here in our country, not on bombs & RPGs & AK47s, on protests.

I didn’t go to Harvard. But I can tell you that individual freedom comes at birth from our Creator, not government. It’s called free will, and by extension of that we have the Bill Of Rights. Free will can never be taken away, only surrendered, even if it means losing your mortal life to defend it. That’s what “Live free or die means” and how freedom is won. I would never consider drafting kids out of high school to fight and die in Viet Nam or any other foreign war we had no business being in, that was not voted on by Congress, an argument in defense of the the Constitution. The UniParty today is career politicians in both Parties, Democrats & RINO’s, getting rich in office selling us out to globalist Big Corporations who only care about profits, they do not give a damn about us. The publicly funded universities today are “lawyer mills” of atheists who do not believe in our individual freedom from our Creator, and Big Pharma publicly funded research labs. The UniParty controls all the levers of power but one: the Creator and those who believe in Him. That is why they attack Christian’s and people of faith. They rule by fear. Faith conquers fear. Light conquers darkness. That is why they hate us. They know it and so do we. MAGA! 🙏🇺🇸

By the way, Big Corporations are CRONY (fake) Capitalism. Collectivism is giving any group special privileges that ALWAYS violate someone else’s individual rights (name one that doesn’t). For example: two tax codes, one for us, one for them, granting private property rights to a group who’s only mission is to make profits for its shareholders, bought and paid for by BIG Corporations from career politicians. It is an Oligarchy, another name for tyranny. The UniParty has to be stopped if our children and theirs ever hope to be free.

I have been crying the same song since 60s too.

“The ideological leftist infection grows at many of our institutions of so-called higher education, brought on by a blind spot created by a simple lack of gratitude for the opportunities afforded us as citizens of the USA.”

Amazing that Yale students could be so ignorant that they think the Constitution is a racist document. I really think the vaccines have wiped out their brains. Who knew that hazardous mercury was in them and aluminum, which create brain damage. Many graduate from colleges with very questionable reading comprehension or the ability to write a decent letter.

Now, that is laughable. I call it the Wussie generation. I say we need a Civil War between the new generation and politicians and my generation and whoever wins rules society!
