His mother retracted the charges she made....People really should not sit in judgment, when they don't know all the facts.

Who knows? Did the mother get quoted out of context by the news media which is anti-Trump? Most families have conflicts...and it is a shame that the whole world is so interested, because they have nothing else to dwell on.. President Trump has a great deal to contend with, after four years of chaos, nearly destroyed America. He is doing his best to select the right people...and the left is doing their worst to destroy confidence in his choices. People need to develop a closer relationship to the Creator and ask for guidance...The Creator is the only One who knows the truth.

OK, name your alternative. Someone who understands the world of national defense. Someone who can navigate the court of public opinion. Someone who can lead men to do dangerous and deadly things with great prejudice. Someone who is not a DC insider, a Pentagon meeting aficionado, or a bought and paid for shill for some military contractor, or manipulative foreign government.

How about we stop with the handwringing about people's personal failures and focus on their professional merit and achievements?

I do understand, and want for, people in powerful positions to be of above average moral character. I also understand that much, if not most, of what we hear and read in today's media is made for TV sensationalism, and at best 50% true.

Did every great leader beat their wives, was every great leader a kind and caring husband (or wife), was every great leader the kind of person I hope my religious leader is? None of those extremes is ever true. Never has been, never will be.

To throw away the good, searching for the perfect is what has gotten us into this bad place. We all make compromises. We all have to be willing to accept some bad to get some good. That is reality. The problems Mr. Hegseth has had with previous marriages has been handled by the courts, by his church, by his ex-wives.

We need strong leaders, with their warts and all, and we do not need to vacillate on what could have been if the world and its population of sinners were perfect.

I would like proof of the abuse. Something concrete like police arrest records, the magistrate charging him and jail records. I want pictures of the abuse. If those come out, then he shouldn't be confirmed. But be careful, that's a high bar to set, and no trans person will ever be able to make it over that bar.

If we could just agree that there's no such thing as a trans-person, we could get along. No matter what you do to the outer shell, your genes are always either male or female. you can't change genetics.

This is a very astute observation. The fact that Hegseth has been married 3 times and has become a stepfather to his 3rd wife’s children says a lot. How can we expect anything more from a President who has been married 3 times himself.

Of course, I prefer Trump over Harris and the Democrats, but his choices in cabinet heads are pragmatic.

I don’t pretend to know God’s will on the subject, but that doesn’t preclude righteousness. I will take a wait and see stance. God is still on the throne.

How on earth can any woman or girl feel safe in a country which is being run by a bunch of sex offenders?

Even worse than that, imagine waking up our of surgery a different sex. That is what the other side proposes, madness, madness.

ALSO on the list of nominees suffering from an unbridled sex drive: RFK Jr. One of his wives committed suicide because of his unceasing...shall we say...pecker-dillos. And YES: Personal conduct DOES matter regardless of one's professional capabilities and finesse.

You don’t think the DOD is being manipulated to provide revenue for the M/I complex? Refocusing on just having the best defense military would eliminate all the various extraneous military activities that just have no rational mission goals.

Um, I think this is a bit too slanted. I know people who have been married three times that doesn't mean they are evil or even incompetent in their work. And sorry when a person is very good-looking and is competent and outspoken, there is often the reach to continue to create in the area of relationships. And not all women are innocent little victims, as the saying goes 'it takes two to tangle" The generality of " all the things at Fox News" is a stretch, unfortunately, all the Media Stations have their staff events and parties and "rubbing elbows" with other media types, and certainly ABC, CBS, NBC have their "me too" characters. We cannot do a A=A=A=A= on every single person or we would have no one to put in office frankly. And people do change especially as they get older and more wise. Also, we never get the full story, we don't know what his marriage was like, or what his wife or wives were like? A person has the right to divorce if they are not happy, or are we now to stand in judgment on another's marriage and vote according to that? Let's be honest the DC character assassinations is the modern day media sleuth games, and it's disgusting frankly., a person in the limelight should have the privacy of their personal life unless someone is being harmed and it is proven not used as some hit job.

Easily the worst thing I’ve ever read on this channel. You sound like every other RINO who wants to preserve the MIC. If anyone accused of something didn’t get nominated we’d never have a nomination. You’re fairly retarded for an insider aren’t you?
