Intravesical BCG (tuberculosis, in essence) is currently standard of care for a lot of bladder cancer in the USA. Chemotherapy is reserved for those who won't tolerate it or with advanced disease. I can't think of other infectious modalities of cancer therapy off the top of my head.

When the swamps in Rome were drained, the rate of cancer increased. The mosquitos caused malaria and the high temperatures kept the cancer level down.

I got rid of tumors twice by simply removing their fuel....excess protein-fat and carbs. I learned that nothing grows without a source of fuel. The first time I got rid of a tumor was in 1976, when two doctors told me that they would give me no guarantees unless I had immediate surgery for a rapidly growing tumor. I told the second doctor who urged me to set up an operation...I am gong to go home and pray. He said that I shouldn't pray too long. Well I prayed...and a book came into my hands by Dr N.W, Walker on raw fruit and vegetables. I removed one food that a nutritional doctor had told me to use...dairy. I went on raw fruit and vegetables only. The nutritional PhD told me that I needed to eat a lo of dairy, because I was expecting to nurse my new baby very shortly. I removed the dairy and in 2-1/2 months the tumor disappeared. I went back to the second doctor and paid for the visit...just to show him the tumor was gone. He did not ask one question and got me out of his office very quickly. Twelve years later, I got another weird looking tumor on my chest with spikes coming out of it. My children were horrified and said, "Get it cut off immediately." I thought ...I got rid of the first tumor by removing a food.. I checked all the foods I was eating. I saw that I was drinking lots of herb tea daily putting honey in every cup. I removed the honey...and in less than 3 months there was a little pink spot on my chest right above my right breast. The honey had excess carbs, which fueled the growth of the tumor. I. don't use honey anymore...it is the food of the busy hard-working bees.
