Great read.

The last paragraph essentially tells the o'blome/biteme cartel that they are on the right track, finally. They have found an engagement with a willing, potent, and viable opponent, isn't that what they have been seeking? Sounds like a shitstorm for us, no?

Onward, Christian soldiers!

So much human energy spent building these weapons, and the killing injections. What a waste and a perversion of human energy.

“Until which time the US can develop, produce and deploy missile defense systems capable of defeating the new missile technology being deployed by nations like Iran, Russia, China, and North Korea, US military power projection capabilities are in a state of checkmate by America’s potential adversaries.”

My pile of weapons is larger than your pile of weapons! The arms race continues. Great for the M/I complex! The Iran missile attack was face saving for Iran. A for home consumption narrative. Israel could have taken out the Iranian missile bases before they could launch....but that would just escalate the potential for a wider war zone! Joe did not want that to happen in an election year. Got to keep the dictatorial powers.

Such is the old formula: They develop the bow, and you develop the shield wall. They develop the rifle. You develop Kevlar armor. They develop the ICBM, you develop interceptors and MAD.

Until the United States stops depending on the military for every problem and starts using diplomacy, or at the very least, stops interfering in other countries' politics, we will always be behind the times.

Vietnam proved that the VC, an irregular army, could stop the US military cold. It was only because of its numbers that the US almost won Vietnam. If it hadn't been for subversion from within, we would have won.

There was a time when the US was the premier diplomatic power in the world. It wasn't military might that brought people to freedom. It was Levi's jeans, Coke, and McDonald's that granted us access to other countries.

We need to go back to those times.

And, don't get me started on Mexico, Central and South America.......
