I personally could care less about fast "food" worker wages because I don't think it is wise for anyone to ever eat that processed garbage which has been allowed to be categorized as "food." If the worker is worthy of $20, that is good. My 21-year-old grandson is in an Apprenticeship program as an Xray Tech, for welds. He's passed 3 tests, studying for # 4 and that is about what he earns. A burger flipper is not worth that. Kroger only pays an experienced cake decorator $15 an hour, but the kid stocking shelves now makes $2.00 more. They don't stay long either, too much work. The Cake decorator does stay, they are older and need the income/health ins.
