I was born in Los Angeles in the 1940’s lived there my entire life and loved every minute of it of it. Raised my children and grandchildren but then they all started to move out of State. I soon followed for all the reasons stated in this article. So sad what happened to my home state. I don’t even go there to visit anymore the filth is overwhelming and the people scare me.
I did see an article on substack that showed more and more counties in California are turning Red. Which doesn’t really matter if illegals are allowed to vote in Federal elections (yeah, I think it happens!). California is over regulated and allowing illegals to receive services is placing the burden on the middle class. My siblings have all moved out of state to red ones. They seem to be so much happier!
You are right, the Deep Blue Cities and States are crashing under the weight of "waste, fraud and abuse" because it is coming to an end. It is going to be painful for a lot of people. The more they resist, the longer and more painful it will be. The new "golden age" of DOGE public transparency is just beginning. It will be required at all levels of what is today the Government Mafia (friends and family plan) at Federal, State and Local levels. The corrupt Corporate tax code bought and paid for by career politicians getting rich in office will also be ending. We are taking our Country back. I am optimistic for the younger generation and pray that God keep President Trump, Elon Musk, and all those who are risking everything to MAGA for our kids and freedom loving people around the world. Be optimistic, keep the faith!
Don't worry "Greasy" Gavin Newsom will take a shot at the White House in 2028 and miracleously get installed to follow through with the 2030 Great Reset!
Exactly. My wife & I are SoCal natives. My career was & is IT. We moved our kids & my 6-fig salary to AZ years ago. We can drive back to camp, ski, backpack, scuba dive… but no one in their right mind still lives there.
I think the dying citizen written by Victor Davis Hansen should be mandatory civics class reading it’s an even keel not a totally right book, but it will definitely give an understanding whatit means to be a citizen of the United States no matter where you’re from in this world the one thing we all have in common is the constitution and the Bill of Rights the very important point he makes in that book.
I was born and raised in Northern CA as well as my grandfather and great grandfather. CA is like NV (in which I currently reside, about 25 miles from the CA border), the cities are yes blue. Just like Reno, and Las Vegas in NV. But the ENTIRE REST of the state is blood RED. Don't forget that please. The cities do NOT represent the majority of it's citizens. Just the majority of it's voters.
"But for the successful implementation of Proposition #187 (1994) which sailed to affirmation by a referendum vote". (It demanded Fed's pay for any crimigrant expenses incurred by the state)
"But for the insistence of ONE UN-ELECTED FERAL BUREAUCRAT APPEALS JUDGE......DECLARING IT INVALID DUE TO RACISM!
I honestly believe the entire shape of our Country was changed the day that ruling was declared valid by California.
I honestly also believe there's nothing of any real value south of Excremento except beautiful landscape, much too precious to cede to the crimigrants who have already enthusiastically destroyed much of it.
That one vote would have saved Cali and possibly the US.

For a long time CA resident, now retired, this is depressing. All true.
That will last only as long as the people coming into the south and into Texas don't vote Blue.
Otherwise, they'll just destroy the state they are moving into.
You can already see it in Austin, where the city is blue and crime is rising.
Same with Dallas/Fort Worth and San Antonio.
It’s an absolute travesty
Such a beautiful state gone horribly wrong
