NAILED IT. While many say they believe, they don't live the Word. The government and inventors of toys and food play a part and have done Satan's work in turning His Birthday into a Secular event, Sans Jesus. You have Santa, Frosty, Rudolph, or the Grinch. Christians argue about what color he is. His words are taken out of context.

I'm old enough to remember 1 doll and needed clothes were our presents. Maybe mom could get nuts and oranges. A baking hen was our Turkey, along with whatever she cooked. There were no prayers of thanks. We grew up poor. Neither parent had more than a grade school education, they were born at the end of the Great Depression. Even though Dad had a good-paying job as a Boilermaker in a large steel mill, he was a WW2 Vet and Italian, discrimination wasn't just for blacks; who had to beg for the job. It still took 2 incomes. There were 4 of us kids. So mom didn't work. I'm the eldest, of the 3 girls, the only boy was a spoiled, pampered mama's boy child. Died in his 50s, and never succeeded at anything.

My Dad was in boot camp when Pearl was bombed. His dad was a strict, hard man, but when they immigrated from Italy he forbade the use of his native tongue and enforced it. They all became Naturalized Citizens. Dad was the last born. A Natural Citizen. He fought 5 major battles under General McArthur. Corregidor was the last, Dad was a typical 5'7", skinny kid, who quickly became a Man fighting the Japanese, who were as bad as Hamas.

503rd Air Borne, Dad rose to the rank of SGT. On the day the Japanese surrendered Corredigor. He volunteered to jump with our Flag, and he and a PFC climbed a Telegraph ple to Raise our flag under sniper fire. The Flag was to go to General McArthur. Corregidor.org has a picture and more info. He earned a Bronze Star and several Silver Stars.

Yet he had to beg for a job! I'm very proud of my Dad, who died of cancer many years ago.

But do not worry, we are not an actual police state, we are the US; Land of the free, home of the brave. We have laws, rights and the 2nd amendment. As soon as the government gets too big for its britches, we’ll rein it in.

Well, that's the way it is supposed to work.

Before the Patriot Act, could anything be less patriotic than it?

Ding, we have an answer. The government.

The Patriot Act did us no favors, that is for sure, but we were in a world of hurt long before it; most (Including me to a certain extent.) just were not aware yet. As Reagan said, government is not the solution, it is the problem.

Jesus was born into this world in the time chosen by God. That moment was the moment God decreed the prophecy of Isaiah 9:6-7 should be fulfilled.

https://blog.petersproverbs.us/p/a-prophecy-fulfilled-a-promise-kept

Yet even if Jesus were born into the world today, He would still be the fulfillment of that prophecy, and God's government would still sit upon his shoulders.

Then or now, Jesus was or would be born into a world lost and wandering in the darkness of sin, and His purpose would be the same: to find those who are lost and restore them to God's Light and God's Law.

Then or now, one truth still stands: when we adhere to God's Law, man's laws are superfluous, and when we reject God's Law, man's laws are ineffective.

More than likely, once he had started his preaching career, the FBI, ATF, and DEA would have inserted agents posing as his disciples, and he would have been attacked by the ATF and his church burned to the ground, men, women, and children, left to die, as happened as Waco, or he would have been in the mountains and been shot, as happened at Ruby ridge.

I miss the world as it was, pre-9-11-2001. It was a simpler time.

It was simpler for us, that's for sure.

Yet, Waco and Ruby Ridge predate 9/11.

Local, and we knew the FBI was shit then, hell, when has it not been.

That was one of my first really big disappointments; learning that the FBI was rotten from the get go. They did at least do some good for a while, catching nongovernment bad actors but now that seems more to eliminate competition than protecting the public.

"Operation Keelhaul" post-WWII was my first real enlightenment.

Kitsune, Maskless Crusader.'s avatar

That one is a touchy as is the turning away of a vessels of Jewish refugees who escaped from the Nazis. As bad as these were, they were long ago, complicated by legal issues that in my view should never have been considered in the context of the known fates of those who were repatriated or turned away and those who were ordered to participate were by and large not happy to have that duty assigned to them. Does not exonerate the US, but in my view not as bad as the FBI gleefully violating the rights of the citizens when it is their duty to protect the same. Especially when in is not a historical incident but one that is ongoing at present.

Ah! As I typed the last, the real difference between them in my mind came to me. The above were horrible mistakes. What the FBI, the IRS, Homeland Security and all the others are doing now is policy. When I learned about Operation Keelhaul, an appropriate name BTW, I learned that the US was not perfect. When I learned about the FBI, I learned the US is corrupt.

For me, it was "Operation Keelhaul" after the end of WWII in Europe.

And still, most Americans don't know about this.

Creeping Creepers !!! Seems the Traditional is always Eroding to the ProgreSSive Propaganda.

My view of the late great USSA: Yin/Yang can be “Tricky” to navigate, but it is Reality. Do We’Me/You really desire to support this current Feral Coup Bankrupt Charade: gov, woke corp’s, fiat $, CBDC’s, demoncracy, borderless America???

Anything “digital/paper” is a Representation of something Physical. In a Great Taking by Banksters…. “who” will be doing the physical taking??? Not the banksters. Sheriff’s Deputies? Who are also losing their physical assets? from an armed and very angry citizenary?

If you are In Possession of anything Physical, and you can Physically Keep It, It’s Yours, otherwise it’s just in the “Clouds”. imho.

Yin/Yang What A Game !!! Play to Win, Comrades. CYA, conduct yourselves accordingly, All the best!!! & Have a Merry Christmas, really hug your loved ones.

Economic impact of Britain’s net-zero climate policies serves as a warning for America

In 2022, according to the study, British businesses were paying more than double what U.S. businesses pay for electricity. Legislators rushing to pass virtuous energy laws often overlook the very quantifiable negative economic impact such policies may have on citizens' lives.
