There is an assumption (widespread among the medical profession as well as the public) that you cannot have too much of some things – such as oxygen. This is nonsense, of course. And too much oxygen can be deadly.
Consider the following paragraph taken from my book `Why and How Doctors kill more people than Cancer’.
My father was in hospital at the time.
`I was allowed to visit because he had suddenly become very ill. When I visited him I found that he was very pink, confused and twitching. When he did wake up he had difficulty in seeing. He was on oxygen and it seemed pretty clear to me that he was getting too much of the stuff and was suffering from oxygen poisoning. These are all classic symptoms of this problem. I asked for the oxygen to be stopped. The oxygen was stopped and the following morning my father was fine.’
The ward was stuffed with doctors and nurses. Why did no one notice? My father would have died if the oxygen had not been stopped.
And sometimes oxygen is deliberately used with terrible results.
Consider this paragraph, taken from my book `The Medicine Men’ (written in 1975):
`Other researchers have deliberately blinded children when studying the effects of oxygen on blindness of new-born children. Clinical observation suggested that newly-born children given high concentrations of oxygen became blind, and to prove this point three separate studies were performed in America in the early 1950s. A total of twenty-seven children were blinded.’

I eat 2 meals a day, it is all I can digest with Gastroparesis. I'm as active as a 76-year-old with a degenerative spine can be. I've had NO hormones since my mid 40's. I watch my diet as a Type 2 to boot. Neither are compatible. The Food Poisoning caused a 2 pant size weight loss. Unless the Ab swells, or the Freaking Gallstones act up. There are no plans to sonic blast them. I get a Thoracic Brace instead. IF Medicare/Tricare Life covers it. None of the idiots take into account age or health.
At your age weight loss may be relatively slow, but there is no reason it can't be constant.
Do you take chromium pic, from what I'm told you have to order it now, Amazon has it cheap. Just a suggestion, but it can lead to improved glycemic control, radically improved in some.
The chromium pic is on my reaction list, it was a fad diet weight loss product 2 or more decades ago. I was the chubby girl in school. I lost weight during my working years and maintained a 125 lb @ 5 ft. Obumber changed the obesity numbers, overnight that became obese. 6'4" male Truckers and weight lifters' necks were measured. That is how they determined and set the obesity scale. I'm sure it's been upped since then. A new weight loss drug had come on the market, along with surgery. That had mass weight loss issues of hanging yeast-infected skin. Not unlike the new money maker Ozempic with its ton of side effects for 14 lbs, and you regain the weight when you quit taking it.
Now for my 6'4" 400 LB, BIG BONED BIL IT WORKED, he used the slow loss surgery, lost a box of dangerous meds, and 200 lbs. And has trouble eating a child's meal now. 200 lbs should be his normal weight. He is ready to retire, which I doubt he will.
BREAD is my downfall. I have no lower teeth, and the bone loss doesn't allow any adhesive to work. The left side is lower than the Right, so the denture rocks, Soft foods are easy to chew. I wear them to keep the facial features from caving in. Or speak clearer. Like my Hearing Aids, they are a crutch for other health issues. I'm also an uncontrolled Hypothyroid. The primary is working on that.
Real is the only one the Military uses. I reacted to the 150 mcg Bluelake dye when they switched manufacturers. My Endo would not believe me. I react to certain Red dyes, my boys did too, they outgrew it, but I never did. And the dose was still too low. 200 mcg is what the Primary has settled on. His wife is an Endo. So I get 2 yellow pills @ 100 mcg a day. Can't see any difference after 2 months. Resistance may be an issue.
I have no desire to be BALD, that is one of the first signs of the generic, Hair loss. Mine comes to my waist.
Scarlett had a heart scare (rate dropped to 30) Wed. night, which lasted a very short time, they are now considering Sat. as a release date, she is off the tubes, and getting formula.

My new granddaughter was via a 2nd C-section, she was not due til June 1. The doctor took her on May 20th, looked healthy as she was held up by her dad during delivery. Turns out she swallowed Anatomic Fluid into her lungs and has been in the NICU since May 20th, starting at 30% 02, a feeding tube, and IV. Slowly lowering the 02 to 01% breathing nasal ox assist. She pulled the feeding tube out. She is 5.6 lbs, 18 inches long, peach fuzz dark nearly black hair. She looks like a 4 lb preemie once the birth swelling went down. We went to see her Tue. she was a wiggly sleeper, nothing woke her up. They made us wash our hands for 2 minutes. What good did that do when you turned around and picked up my cane and purse, without putting on gloves before you went in?
She is down to nasal breathing assistance, 1 once of formula, going to 2 ounces tomorrow. That is about what I'd expect for a 5.6 baby. Except her dad, He was 5.8, the hungeriest baby in the nursery. They had to put rice cereal in his bottle and enlarge the holes. Still Thursday more likely Friday. And we are in Thunderstorms till Saturday. They are sending her home with a box of Preemie diapers, you can't buy them. Chris her dad is good at being a dad, changes diapers, and gives baths.

Physicians are supposed to do no harm.
Medicine has been called both an art and a science, but I think it's more akin to religion.
Medicine has it's doctrinal foundations, its thesis, and its chapter and verse that doctors stick to religiously.
COVID is a good example of that.
1) Thou shalt wear a mask (even though the box says "Doesn't work on COVID.")
2) Thou shalt stand 6 feet apart. (Even though the drops can't travel beyond the nose and mouth.)
3) Thou shalt take the fauxine or be fire from your job, kicked out of school, arrested, etc.
4) Thou shalt take the boosters (Even though they lower your immune system each time.)
5) Thou shalt not speak bad of the FDA, CDC, or FedGov (Even though they are all wrong.)
6) Thou shalt wear thy mask when standing up but not when sitting down. (Don't get me started.)
7) Every death shall be a COVID death (even when it's not.)
8) Thou shalt not disrespect the dancing nurses.
9) Thou shalt not visit the old and infirm and if thou doth, they shalt die.
10) We are your gods, thou shalt not question us....even if we are wrong.
Physicians no longer practice observing or diagnosing the actual sickness. They treat the symptoms and prescribe medications that could kill you.
How did we ever come to trust these quacks?
Physicians have become the tools of the Big Pharma industry! Until they wake up, revolt and walk out on the job this nightmare will not end!
Unlikely, as long as Big Pharma has the purse strings that it does.

Thyroid is a big problem, don't expect results till it is under control, and don't take generic synthoid, only the real thing.
