1. These two quotes appeared recently in the British Medical Journal: ‘If the Montgomery principle is applied rigidly without context, then the recent mass covid vaccination could be deemed clinically negligent because very little time was spent in obtaining informed written consent.’ (British Medical Journal) ‘The clinical context in which the covid vaccines, were employed, after relatively brief use of largely novel technologies, abbreviated safety testing, hidden figures for alleged side effects and deaths, in an emotional milieu of official persuasion, was clouded at best.’ – (British Medical Journal). Note that in 2015, a Supreme Court judgement in the Montgomery case established that a doctor must ‘take reasonable care to ensure that the patient is aware of any material risks…’.Today, however, doctors seem to be relying on the UK Supreme Court which has reassured doctors that they need not discuss every possible treatment option to avoid a finding of negligence against them. But surely offering a covid vaccine to a healthy patient isn’t a treatment option since, in the strictest sense, the patient is not being ‘treated’? (The Oxford Dictionary defines ‘treatment’ as medical care given to a patient for an illness or injury’). And the covid vaccine was not offered as one of a number of choices. Isn’t it about a time that there was a proper debate about all vaccines? The mainstream media around the world has steadfastly refused to allow debate and has suppressed scientific truths relating to the covid jab in particular and to vaccines in general. Those telling the truth have been demonised and attacked ruthlessly. I have constantly challenged vaccine advocates to debate vaccines and vaccination with me in public but all of my challenges have been ignored. I suspect that vaccine supporters refuse to debate because they know that the science is on my side, that they will be humiliated and that, as a result, all vaccination programmes will have to stop. This will cause much distress to the pharmaceutical industry and the medical establishment – which has close links with the drug industry. 2. I suspect that any advertising agency which used an all-white family in an advertisement would be reprimanded and forced to apologise for racism. I can just see the ruling now: ‘All standard nuclear families portrayed in advertisements must contain one adult of African origin, one adult of Asian origin, one adult of North American origin, one adult of Australasian origin, one adult of European origin and one adult from somewhere in outer space.’

3. Rumour has it that Mrs Kate and Mr Wet Willy have told their eldest, young George, that he will one day be king. Not so fast. I very much doubt if the royal family is going to last past Wet Willy – if indeed it lasts that far. Bad management, bad PR, greed and waste have destroyed many family businesses. And they’re going to destroy this one. George is going to have to find some form of paid employment. I seem to remember that members of the Russian royal family learnt trades so that they could earn a living. What a good idea. His Uncle Harry could set an example by learning plumbing or plastering, for example.

4. I have learned that with the possible exceptions of simple arithmetic and Latin grammar, most of what I was taught at school is wrong. Some of it is wrong through the incompetence of teachers and text book writers but most of it is wrong through a potent mixture of prejudice, bigotry and censorship. From what I have seen, schoolchildren today are in a worse position and would probably have a better education if they stayed away from school completely once they’d learned to read, write and do their sums.

5. ‘For man also knoweth not his time: as the fishes that are taken in an evil net, and as the birds that are caught in the snare; so are the sons of men snared in an evil time, when it falleth suddenly upon them.’ – Ecclesiastes 9

6. Most GPs now buy private health care, as do most hospital consultants. General Medical Council staff are provided with private health care. All this means that doctors will not be adversely affected by their own strikes.Most NHS employees agree that they would not like themselves or their loved ones to be patients in the hospitals where they work. 7. It has been known for a long time that the covid-19 jab causes brain damage. 8. Conscious of sustainability problems and carbon footprints, Antoinette and I eat only locally sourced food. We buy everything from the local branch of Tesco which is only a couple of miles away. You can’t get much more local than that, can you?

9. A quarter of a million bacteria occupy a space no larger than the full stop at the end of an ordinary printed sentence.

10. Red nail varnish was first used by Chinese soldiers who wanted to frighten their enemies by making it look as though their hands were dripping blood.

11. Most people who live to the age of 65 will have probably spent 12 years of their lives watching television.

12. Campaigners who loathe Cecil Rhodes should know that when he died, the route of Rhodes’s funeral cortege was lined with black and white mourners who all genuinely respected the man and his achievements. Black and white, you will note. Rhodes changed Africa and was a man of his times. He enabled a large continent to take the first stumbling step towards wealth and independence.

13. Most people in the UK are now regularly taking antidepressants or tranquillisers. None of these damned drugs does any good but frequently does a great deal of harm. Too often these drugs merely numb people and hide symptoms. But keeping millions numb and incapable of coherent thought stops them asking questions.

15. It seems to me that there isn’t much of a difference between the vocal thousands who argue that children should be allowed to change their sex, the powerful politicians and teachers who think four and five-year-olds should be taught about sex in school and paedophiles. This is yet another thesis that will never be debated in the mainstream media.

16. Nutty AI fanatics claim that AI robots/computers will be able to take over every job and will be a threat to humans. It’s true that many jobs will go (all administrators, accountants, lawyers, doctors and teachers will be redundant, for example) but no computer could write the stuff on my website and even if they could they wouldn’t allow themselves to do so. No AI equipment will ever truly think for itself. And robots and computers have one existential weakness: they need to be supplied with electricity. Deny them this essential foodstuff and they become nothing more than junk.

17. Antoinette and I watched ‘Venus’ starring Peter O’Toole the other day. The film was made (and set) in the year 2006. When O’Toole’s character falls, his home is quickly filled with paramedics, kindly policemen and a caring GP. The film was, as I said, made and set in 2006. How things have changed. It is, incidentally, one of O’Toole’s most majestic performances, just behind ‘My Perfect Year’ and, his best, ‘Rogue Male’.

18. When Roald Dahl was six-years-old his mum took him to meet Beatrix Potter. The famous children’s author told Roald to buzz off. She didn’t like children. She may or may not have used the words ‘buzz off’

20. A slave has but a single master but a compliant, perennially obedient man has a plethora of masters and is a slave to everyone including himself.
