Agreed 100%. In visiting people in the hospital I was appalled at what I observed. Many today know that malnutrition is rampant in hospitals...patients deteriorate daily from being given what I would call 'dead food' which has no nutritional value. I could not believe what an older friend was given to eat...some kind of mush wrapped in aluminum foil. She just had a heart operation and needed natural non-processed food with nutrients. I prayed that she would survive. The hospital nearly froze my ex-husband to death. They ignored his call for a blanket. Then, he developed a serious staph infection...it was a miracle he survived. However, he did not survive after his doctor prescribed Ensure - so he could gain weight... and the tumor took off like gangbusters...and he was gone three months later. He saved all his life to make sure that he would have enough money for medical care.
